Photographing Families Like Yours—Because I’m a Mom Who Gets It
Hey there! I’m Kelsey, a mom, a photographer, and someone who knows exactly what it’s like to want beautiful family photos—but also to worry about whether your kids will cooperate, if your partner will be into it, or if it’ll just feel like another stressful to-do.
Good news? I get it, and I’ve got you.
I became a photographer before I became a mom, capturing the beauty of motherhood and family life long before I got to experience it myself. But my journey to motherhood wasn’t easy. After struggling with infertility and navigating the heartbreak that comes with it, I finally became pregnant—only to experience a birth that didn’t go as planned. That experience changed me in so many ways, but one thing it solidified was my belief in preserving the real, raw, and deeply meaningful moments of parenthood.
I know firsthand how quickly time moves—how one moment, you’re anxiously waiting to meet your baby, and the next, you’re wondering how they’re already so big. That’s why I built my photography experience differently—stress-free, personal, and focused on capturing the love and connection that make your family’s story uniquely yours.
More Than Just Photos—It’s About Preserving What Matters Most
I didn’t always know just how much these photos would mean.
I became a photographer before I became a mom, drawn to the beauty of capturing raw, real emotions and the connection between families. But it wasn’t until I walked my own road to motherhood—through infertility, loss, and a birth experience that didn’t go as planned—that I truly understood why these moments matter so much.
When I finally held my baby in my arms, I realized something: time moves faster than we’re ready for.
The tiny fingers, the sleepy newborn snuggles, the way they fit perfectly against your chest—these moments are everything, and yet they pass in the blink of an eye. Photos became more than just a job for me. They became a way to hold on to the moments that matter most.
That’s why I approach photography differently—with a heart full of understanding, a deep appreciation for the beauty of everyday moments, and a promise to make the experience stress-free and meaningful.
Because one day, your child will look back at these photos and see how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. And that’s why I do what I do.
A Few Things You Should Know About Me
Photography is personal, but so is choosing a photographer. If we’re going to create something beautiful together, you should probably know a little more about me—beyond just the fact that I love capturing families.
Here are a few things that make me me:
✔ I love to hike—especially with my toddler on my back. There’s something about being outdoors, exploring new places, and seeing the world through my kid’s eyes that makes every adventure even better.
✔ I’m an IVF warrior and birth trauma survivor. My journey to motherhood wasn’t easy, and it’s shaped the way I see the world—and the way I photograph the moments that matter most.
✔ I have a deep love for connecting with other moms. Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also feel isolating. I truly believe in the power of sharing our stories and lifting each other up.
✔ Traveling and experiencing new cultures is one of my greatest joys. Whether it’s exploring a new country or just trying a new type of food, I love the perspective that comes from stepping outside of my comfort zone.
✔ Coffee is my love language. If we’re doing a sunrise session, just know there’s caffeine involved.
✔ I believe the best photos come from real moments. No pressure, no stiff posing—just your family, exactly as they are, in all the beautiful, messy, love-filled chaos.
