How soon should I schedule my newborn photos with an Orange County newborn photographer?
It’s never too early to schedule your session with an Orange County newborn photographer. While we try to accommodate last-minute booking requests, it’s best to schedule your session about a month prior to your due date to ensure availability.
What if my baby comes early or late?
Since the exact arrival time of your baby can’t be predicted, we limit the number of newborn sessions we book each month. This flexibility allows us to reschedule if your little one decides to come earlier or later than expected.
What kind of editing do you do for newborn photography?
All the images you receive are fully edited for exposure adjustments and my artistic styling. I also provide light skin retouching for newborn photos, which includes dry skin and flake removal, skin smoothing, and jaundiced skin correction. The goal is to maintain your baby's natural look while removing temporary imperfections that can be more noticeable in photos.
Can parents and siblings be included in the newborn session?
Absolutely! Family involvement is encouraged, and parents and siblings are welcome to join the newborn session. Capturing the bond between your newborn and family members is a beautiful part of the experience with Captured Forever Photography.
How long does a newborn photography session usually last?
Newborn photography sessions can range anywhere from 1 - 2 hours. Time frames are outlined in the newborn package descriptions above.
Do you provide props and outfits for newborn photos?
Yes, I provide a variety of baskets, swaddles, and blankets for your newborn session. If you have specific items or sentimental props you’d like to include, feel free to bring them along.
What should we bring to the newborn photoshoot?
Bringing extra diapers, wipes, and any necessary feeding supplies is recommended. Additionally, if there are special outfits or props you’d like to use, please bring those as well. Comfort items such as pacifiers or blankets can also help soothe your baby during the session.
How can we prepare our home for an in-home newborn photography session?
For in-home sessions, ensure the room where the photos will be taken is warm and has good natural light. Clear any clutter from the area to create a clean and comfortable space for your baby and family.
